Seaside in Hohwacht

We were there about 4 weeks ago and found a great place. Always nice and delicious food. We will be back.

We were very satisfied. The service was very courteous and we found the food very tasty. You should only reserve a table in advance. I would have liked to have given 5 *. But unfortunately I have to take one off because a lady (who was not a customer) came in without a face mask. She was politely approached by the staff when the lady replied very snuggly that she had an exemption. She then changed money and left the restaurant after using the toilet. In my opinion, they should at least have been shown deliverance or prayed out. Unfortunately, neither of these happened. Otherwise, I would always oppose it.

A nice and cozy place. We sat outside, blankets were provided as it was a bit cold. Sufficient distance to the neighbors is guaranteed. The staff is friendly and courteous.

What do you eat when you are by the water. Fish, of course. Three kinds of fish with hollandaise and potatoes (small portion just under 11 €) and a hamburger pan fish (just under 16 €). Both good. For dessert there was the pancake. Delicious. Absolutely okay in terms of price. Would this restaurant be one of the cheaper places compared to the other local ones? The restaurant is in the second row, so you can't look directly at the water. Sufficient public parking spaces are available for a fee.

We were there to drink coffee first and since we made reservations for later, we stayed seated until dinner :-) The boss was super nice and was happy to give us a table earlier than the actual reservation. The restaurant had great vegetarian dishes, which I was very happy about as a vegetarian. The offer up here in the north just didn't seem to be that big otherwise. My burger with the vegetarian schnitzel was really delicious and the sauce went very well with it. With the "vegetarian schnitzel" as a dish, however, a little sauce was missing and you had to order something. No problem at all, but maybe a little suggestion of what could be improved with a few attacks. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is a bit cool, but it can also be due to the fact that the tables had to be placed further apart due to Corona. The service was also very nice! In addition, the proximity to the sea. Everything great.

The restaurant is very easy to reach by car. I can only recommend Seaside. Very good food and above all, a very nice staff. My wife and I were able to experience it again today. So I can only recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant is simply terrible, we waited almost 15 minutes just for our drinks and the food came 1 hour later. But what I found worst was just the fries, the fries were sometimes really gross and they were made with really bad frying fat. I ate there once and never will again. I can only recommend you guys save yourself such garbage.

We went to eat there with friends after many years. We enjoyed it there very much. The food was delicious, and the waiter very friendly and professional. We'll be back for sure.

Highly recommended, you feel very well cared for there, the food is fresh, tasty and absolutely affordable. The atmosphere is friendly, cozy and familiar. Although the restaurant was apparently full, I was personally shown to a table by the boss. I will definitely come again.

The clod was quite small and I found it carelessly arranged ... 3 days later today ... Outside on the terrace ... Hardly anything going on. 2 people in the service and after 35 minutes there was still no one to take an order ... Ok, it's vacation and you have more time than usual but that ...

There are small portions for those who are hungry. Very tasty dishes at very good prices. The staff is very friendly and kind.

The food was good but I had some stone in my salad 😖and they just said ow! When I told them about it 🤣

Incomprehensible. Were greeted by an unfriendly waiter. The food was disastrous. Redfish with tasteless noodles, the redfish was fried in old frit fat to a taste disaster. Absolutely inedible! All sorts of things from the cutter were even sharper. Tasteless hodgepodge of fish with Lidl Hollandaise sauce drowned in taste. What we had to endure culinary here did not even correspond to Petrol Station Stadart. Every chip shop has more charm overall. Sorry, but this shop should be closed sooner than further vacationers to deal with the coal with such dirt. This has nothing to do with seafood outside of a bad cafeteria flair.

The food is nothing special. Normal cuisine: steak, fish, etc. When I ate there I ordered a steak with fried potatoes. The steak arrived. I had to wait 10 minutes for the BK, by which time I was almost up to the steak. They apologized for this approach, but I know that you can regulate something different. Especially when I offer BK then I always have some prepared or ready to send. I wouldn't come again myself. I think the restaurant has such good reviews mostly for its location. Service: A smile does no harm.

Large outside area, tables with sufficient space. Because it was full, we had to plan waiting. Then there was a change in staff or a service employee called it a day and it got chaotic. Coffee and cake were good. The waiting times were no longer acceptable.

Everything is very good again. We haven't been there for a few years, but nothing has changed. Service, food, price performance all very good. As always, the place was very clean and tidy, the corona rules were all implemented perfectly. We will always be happy to come back there.

Nice outside area to sit and eat, selection of food and drinks is good and reasonably priced. Food was okay, but could be spicier. Service was quick, the drinks and food came relatively quickly. Despite the end of the season, it was relatively full. A reservation certainly doesn't hurt.

We ate here 3 times during our vacation and were never disappointed. It is essential to make a reservation here in the high season. Food was always delicious. Service was quick and friendly. We can recommend it.

Unfortunately you cannot give 0 stars. We had to wait an hour for the food. Was brought is a disaster. The fries were already lukewarm. Meat was lukewarm too. When asked by the boss the answer came that he didn't care. The food was tasteless. I don't understand the positive reviews.

The food was simply amazing !!! The service was very friendly. 😅 However, the location was not really cozy 🤷🏼‍♂️

Good seaside food, great beer

Pleased to find somewhere as good as this open during the winter (but check - limited opening times). It looks small and quirky from the outside but much bigger once you get through the door. Good range of options on the menu; largely fairly typical hearty, German fare, and some vegetarian options. Our server was also helpful with one of our party who was vegan. We enjoyed a good lunch, enjoyed the ambience and appreciated the efficient staff.
